About the Role

Marketing Executive job details:

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Executive to help plan and execute marketing strategy and plans across our niche sectors, including: Farm, Equine, Care & Social Welfare, Commercial and Art & Private Clients, as well as supporting marketing activities for other brands across the company group.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support Head of Operations & Marketing, our existing Marketing Executive and Digital Marketing Executive in the implementation of our Marketing Plans and wider Marketing Strategy
  • Contribute ideas for marketing campaigns, events and projects, putting together project plans and helping to implement them
  • Represent and promote brands externally by attending events and internally by implementing and upholding brand guidelines and SVP
  • Support Digital Marketing Executive with creation of adverts for PPC campaigns and web content, optimise website performance, including organic traffic, bounce rate and conversion rates to improve user experience and drive lead generation
  • Implement and manage digital campaigns, monitor performance reports against set KPIs, analyse data and make data-driven recommendations
  • Support Marketing Executive with planned email communications to clients and partners, reporting on the effectiveness with suggestions for improvement
  • Create, design and proof content such as blog posts, adverts, press releases, social posts, and other marketing collateral, ensuring that they are of high quality and accurate
  • Keep stock of physical and digital collateral, ensuring that they are kept up to date to reduce the risk of errors and omissions from using outdated information
  • Oversee social media content plan across Facebook, Twitter (X) and LinkedIn
  • Research and suggest potential marketing opportunities relevant to each brand or sector (e.g. events, networking, sponsorships, charity/community projects, companies to partner with, etc.)
  • Track return on investment from marketing initiatives alongside the Sales Team
  • Liaise with external agencies to give feedback and guidance on work and concepts produced to ensure they are of high quality and in line with branding, where necessary
  • Assist with staff internal comms and keep staff informed about Marketing activities and initiatives

Skills needed to succeed as a Marketing Executive:

  • Good interpersonal skills/social – being able to communicate with clients and the wider team effectively and confidently
  • Basic copywriting experience in line with SEO best practices
  • Creative eye with basic knowledge of graphic design best practices
  • Accurate, strong attention to detail and able to make appropriate use of data/information
  • Take initiative/problem-solve
  • Strong in organisation, planning and delivery
  • Prior experience and use of some or all of the following: WordPress, GA4, Google Ads, social media PPC and Canva (or similar)

Helpful skills (not all required):

  • Experience working within a regulated environment
  • Marketing-related degree or qualification(s) with CIM

This role is available at our Malton office. Our newly-refurbished office is based just out of town with easy access to amenities and public transport, with free on-site parking for staff.
