Job Description
The Materials & Process Manager is a Senior Leadership role responsible for the strategic direction of materials engineering, laboratory operations, and maintaining world-class aerospace accreditations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Sit within the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to drive technical roadmaps, investment planning, and departmental strategy.
Accreditation Ownership: Full accountability for maintaining Nadcap (MTL, CP, HT), ISO/IEC 17025, and prime approvals (e.g., Airbus M20691.2/3).
Risk & Governance: Lead critical investigations and risk reviews to ensure zero major findings during audits and maintain operational quality.
People Development: Champion a culture of excellence through structured competency frameworks, coaching, and succession planning.
Requirements:
Degree in Materials Science or a related engineering discipline. Extensive experience managing multidisciplinary teams in an aerospace or high-precision environment. Expert-level knowledge of heat treatment and chemical processing standards
