About the Role

Job Opportunity: Sales Manager - Warehouse Automation Solutions

Location: United Kingdom (Remote/Field-Based)

Salary: £100,000 dep on experience, plus 10% bonus, plus car.

Are you a driven and experienced sales leader with a deep understanding of the warehouse automation landscape? Do you thrive on building relationships, generating new business, and closing deals for complex solutions? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to be our first dedicated Sales Manager in the UK.

We are a dynamic and growing company providing cutting-edge warehouse automation solutions, not just standalone products. We specialise in delivering integrated systems that optimise warehouse efficiency and performance. To excel in this role, you will ideally possess a strong background in solutions incorporating Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) – whether pallet ASRS or tote/carton ASRS – and the surrounding technologies such as conveyor systems and/or Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). This understanding is crucial, as it demonstrates a comprehensive grasp of modern warehouse processes.

About the Role:

As our UK Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in establishing and expanding our presence in the UK market. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from identifying and qualifying leads to presenting compelling solutions and closing deals. You will operate independently, taking ownership of your targets and contributing directly to our growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve ambitious growth targets within the UK. Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities through networking, market research, and targeted outreach. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing, and retail sectors. Understand client needs and challenges, and articulate the value proposition of our integrated warehouse automation solutions. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and quotations. Lead the sales process from initial contact through negotiation and contract closure. Collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., solutions engineering, project management) to ensure successful project delivery. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in warehouse automation. Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting. Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

About You:

You possess a proven track record of 5-10 years of experience in a sales role within the warehouse automation space. Ideally, your experience lies with companies providing integrated warehouse automation solutions rather than solely product-based offerings. You have a strong understanding of warehouse processes and demonstrable experience with ASRS (pallet or tote/carton) and related technologies (conveyors, AMRs). It would be beneficial if candidates have previously worked at other warehouse automation companies such as Dematic, Vanderlande, Swisslog, Knapp, TGW, SSI Schaefer, Daifuku, or Witron. You are a self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively. You possess a strong blend of business development acumen (lead generation) and sales expertise (closing deals), with the ability to manage straightforward projects without constant engineering support. You are an excellent communicator and negotiator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills. You are results-oriented, driven to exceed targets, and possess a strong commercial awareness. You are based in the UK and have a valid driver's license.

Compensation & Benefits:

We offer a competitive compensation package including;

Salary £100,000 depending on experience.

10% bonus based on performance.

A company car.
