Data Retention Schedule

This schedule summarises how long Cruise Control Recruitment Ltd normally keeps personal data. It supports our Privacy Policy and should be read alongside it.

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Where a longer period is required by law, or where you ask us to keep your details on file for future opportunities, we will retain the data for that period instead.

Indicative retention periods

  • Candidate records – normally kept while we are actively working with you and for a period afterwards so we can tell you about suitable roles, unless you ask us to remove your data sooner.
  • Placed worker and payroll records – kept for the periods required by employment, tax and accounting law.
  • Client and supplier records – kept for the life of the relationship and then for the period required for tax, accounting and contractual claim purposes.
  • Website enquiries, job alerts and marketing preferences – kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, and then only as a record of your preference.
  • Website analytics and server log data – kept for a limited period for security and website improvement purposes. See our Cookies Policy.

When personal data is no longer required it is securely deleted or destroyed. You can ask us at any time what data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, subject to our legal obligations.
