About the Role
Controls Commissioning Engineers
Location: Israel plus International travel
The Controls Commissioning Engineer will be working at modern automated distribution centers across Israel.
We are looking for engineers who have experience of working with Siemens S7 control systems.
Important information: this position includes a training period abroad (Europe/US), and then joining projects across Israel.
Responsibilities
Preparing and carrying out switch cabinet tests, special machines tests and factory tests.
Independent project preparation.
Creating, maintaining and improving startup instructions, test protocols and checklists.
Supporting the PLC development departments.
Supporting customers and new employees.
Independent configuration, startup and test of the components at the customer.
Coordinating and supporting tests of third parties and the customer.
Carrying out measurements for quality assurance purposes.
Monitoring and compliance with the Safety Guidelines and regulations.
Coordinating the daily work processes.
Direct contact, collaboration and partnership with the customer.
Supporting the planning department in new developments.
Assisting the startup phase and supporting the customer.
Documentation and backup of the components put in operation.
Carrying out on-site interventions
Professional requirements:
Basic technical education (apprenticeship or technical college).
Foreign language skills (including English).
Programming skills for control systems (S7, TIA).
General IT skills

Additional Information:
The position includes 6 months of training abroad (within this period, you will join other projects and train there each time for few weeks).
For the first 6-8 weeks you will stay in Austria where you will learn about the automation systems.
After that, you will integrate in various projects around the world for a period of several weeks / months.
After completing the training period, you will integrate into the projects based in Israel.
