Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year

We are actively seeking a full-time, onsite Controls Engineer II to join a premier manufacturing facility in Trenton, MO!

Key Responsibilities
PLC & Automation Ownership: Troubleshoot machine control programs; develop, modify, and debug PLC programs to support production across all shifts. Process Optimization: Analyze existing manufacturing methods, investigate alternative solutions, and develop cost-effective improvements. Project Management: Lead major projects from equipment specification and design through to installation, safety/ergonomic reviews, qualification, and production release. Collaboration: Partner with outside vendors, contractors, and cross-functional corporate engineering teams to execute high-value projects.
What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing engineering experience is preferred, but we will strongly consider recent graduates with relevant co-op or internship work experience.
Technical Skills: Strong PLC programming knowledge and solid analytical skills. Proficiency with CAD applications (Solid Edge preferred) and exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Toyota Production System (TPS) principles.
