The Opportunity: Scale the Future of Robotics
At the intersection of cutting-edge technology and human ingenuity lies our client—a market-leading global provider of industrial automoation and robotics. They aren't just building machines; they are automating the world’s future.
We are seeking a Director of HR Operations to act as the strategic architect of our people infrastructure. This is not a "maintenance" role. You will lead a digital transformation, leveraging automation and data to ensure our global HR operations are as sophisticated as the robotics we manufacture.
Your Mission
As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you will oversee four critical pillars:
-
Digital Transformation: Lead the charge in HRIS evolution (ADP/SAP), moving toward high-level automation, self-service, and predictive analytics.
-
Global Operational Excellence: Command a complex landscape including multi-state (US/CA) and international (Mexico) payroll, ensuring flawless execution and compliance.

Strategic Leadership: Mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of "continuous improvement" rather than "status quo."
What You Bring to the Table
You are a rare blend: a technical HRIS expert who also understands the "human" side of HR strategy.
For this role, we’re specifically looking for someone with demonstrated success in HR Operations, including compensation strategy, multi‑state payroll leadership, payroll strategy, HRIS strategy and system evaluation, as well as broader HR strategic experience.
-
Experience: 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership seat.
-
Technical Arsenal: Mastery of HR technology (ADP Workforce Now or SAP SuccessFactors highly preferred).
-
The "Nuance" Factor: Proven success navigating the complexities of multi-state payroll (specifically California) and international operations (Canada/Mexico).
-
Strategic Mindset: You don’t just report data; you provide insights that influence executive decision-making.
-
Education & Creds: Bachelor’s degree required. Professional certifications (CCP, CEBS, CPP, or SHRM-SCP) are highly regarded.
