Global Account Executive

About the opportunity

Our client is a major specialty metals group supporting aerospace OEMs. This role owns global key accounts across Titanium and Nickel product streams, with a sales remit of approximately $300M. Aerospace experience is essential; Rolls-Royce or major OEM account experience is preferred.

The position is ideally based in the Midlands and can be home or office based, with significant travel to company plants and customers’ premises across the UK and EU.

Package: £80,000–£90,000 + bonus + car allowance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow global key account relationships; find new Titanium and Nickel opportunities.
• Ensure contractual compliance across key accounts and sites.
• Lead strategic commercial planning as the lead thinker for the key account and product stream.
• Liaise cross-functionally with operations, technical, customer service, finance and product management.
• Develop competitive intelligence, market share and sales growth strategies.
• Conduct regular senior-level account reviews, sales forecasting and reporting.
• Understand complex supply chains and present product capabilities.

Requirements

• Degree preferred in Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years’ sales or commercial experience in relevant sectors, ideally Aerospace, in a customer-facing role.
• Executive leadership of a global OEM account, with experience of complex contracts, budgets, forecasts and margins.
• Strong influencing, negotiation and presentation skills; MS Office proficiency; SAP preferred.
