The Offer & Rewards
- Salary & Earning Potential: £51,000 – £53,000 Basic Salary
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): £60,000 – £65,000+
- Bonus: Lucrative quarterly Company Bonus Scheme.

The Role & Environment
You will be a key mechanical specialist in a demanding heavy industry environment with a focus on both reactive response and proactive strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out reactive maintenance (approx. 60%) on large, capital-intensive production equipment across all facilities.
Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM - approx. 40%) using a modern SAP system.
Perform mechanical duties including fault- finding on and replacing components on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Work on a diverse range of large machinery, including:
- Conveyors, Cranes, and Large Presses
- Furnaces, Heat Treatment & Vacuum Systems
- Plasma Welding and Forge Equipment
Read and interpret engineering drawings and follow strict safe working practices.
What You'll Bring:
Experience: Proven background in a medium to heavy industry setting.
Qualifications: Engineering qualification at Level 3+ (or equivalent).
Technical Skills: Conversant with drives, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics, with a keen eye for mechanical fault-finding.
Mindset: A strong commitment to safety, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to contribute to continuous improvement.
