Salary: $32.00 to $35.00 per hour (dep on experience)

What You'll Get To Do:

As a Mobile Maintenance Technician, you will be a crucial part of our field service team, ensuring the seamless operation of our sophisticated automated systems at customer sites. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Expert Troubleshooting & Repair: Provide first-class maintenance and support for automated storage and retrieval systems, adeptly diagnosing and resolving electro-mechanical faults and failures with a "first-time right" approach.

  • Proactive Preventative Maintenance: Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance services as part of our resident service and support system, ensuring system longevity and reliability.

  • Responsive Customer Support: Deliver 24/7 maintenance support (or according to customer schedules), responding efficiently to emergency breakdowns and maintenance needs in collaboration with on-site maintenance departments.

  • Building Strong Relationships: Cultivate effective working relationships with customers and their operational teams, acting as a trusted partner to deliver premier service.

  • Performance Excellence: Consistently achieve high performance standards for output, response speed, and the quality of your repairs and workmanship.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous and legible reports, ensuring accurate and timely logging of spare parts usage and submitting precise timesheets weekly.

  • Knowledge Sharing: Actively train customer maintenance teams on system operation and maintenance best practices.

  • Adherence to Standards: Implement and uphold site quality procedures, safety protocols, and all statutory requirements, including conducting thorough risk assessments.

  • Collaborative Engagement: Participate in site-related meetings as required and regularly communicate progress and activities with the Maintenance Operations Manager.

What You Bring:

We are looking for a hands-on problem-solver with a strong technical foundation and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a relevant industry or service role.

  • Proven expertise in mechanical strip-down/re-assembly, basic field wiring, machine calibration, and system testing.

  • Strong ability to interpret and work with electrical circuit diagrams and assembly drawings.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively manage your time to complete reactive repairs within assigned timeframes.

  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with on-site management, keeping them informed and addressing concerns.

  • Hands-on ownership of issues with a commitment to quick resolution.

  • Computer literate with basic Microsoft Office skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-up skills.

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.

  • Valid driving license and the ability to obtain a passport.

  • Willingness to learn, adapt to changing role requirements, and appreciate cultural diversity.
