About the Role

Cruise Control Recruitment has been assigned to recruit multiple Lead Controls Engineers for a leading conveyor system integrator in Fremont, OH. This is a pivotal role where you will collaborate directly with customers and internal teams to execute complex control system developments from start to finish.

We are looking for technical leaders who can translate mechanical and electrical specifications into high-performing automated systems while maintaining project schedules and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• System Design: Design and document company products using AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPlan.

• Programming: Develop original PLC code and HMI configurations using Rockwell Studio 5000.

• Project Management: Manage project schedules, scope, and change orders to ensure on-time delivery.

• Technical Communication: Interpret mechanical/electrical schematics and customer specifications; write routine reports and technical correspondence.

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with clients and internal engineering teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 5–10 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or control systems engineering.

• Technical Mastery: Highly proficient in Controls and Electrical Engineering fundamentals.

• Software: Proven expertise in Rockwell Studio 5000 and AutoCAD Electrical (or EPlan).

• Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop original code (not just modifications).

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
