The Senior Metallurgist is responsible for the maintenance of all technical and metallurgical quality aspects of the products manufactured by the company.  This job is a career progression step from a Product Metallurgist or an entry position for candidates with significant and relevant metals processing experience.

 

Seeking a Senior Metallurgist for Direct Hire in Toronto, OH

Cruise Control Recruitment is actively recruiting a Senior Metallurgist for a position in Toronto, OH. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to elevate their career from a Product Metallurgist role.

The Senior Metallurgist will be directly responsible for upholding and improving metallurgical and technical quality standards across our production operations. We require candidates with substantial experience in metals processing.

Your Impact:

Ensure product quality and compliance with specifications. Manage non-conforming materials, including rework and retesting approvals. Support process optimization through DOEs and MPEs. Drive new product and process introductions. Analyze data to reduce non-conformance. Address customer technical inquiries and support audits. Mentor and develop Product Metallurgists.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or related. 3-4+ years of experience in metallurgical/metals processing. Proficiency in metallurgy, metalworking, ISO/aerospace quality standards, Microsoft Office, statistical tools (Minitab), and NDT methods.
