About the Role

Cruise Control Recruitment has been assigned to recruit multiple Service Technicians for a leading conveyor system integrator. This is a great opportunity for electrically biased Service Technicians.

Are you a master of electrical systems who loves the freedom of the open road? We are seeking a Service Technician with a heavy emphasis on electrical expertise to support our clients, across their automated sites.

This is a 70% travel role, meaning you can live anywhere in the United States — as long as you are near a major airport, you are ready to fly!

The Electrical Expert We Need

While this role covers a broad range of automation, your primary value will be your electrical troubleshooting and repair skills. We are looking for someone who can navigate complex control panels, diagnose electrical faults, and ensure advanced automated systems stay powered and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel & Troubleshoot: Travel 70% of the time to resolve equipment issues rapidly at various locations.

Electrical Maintenance: Maintenance on automated equipment, including conveyors, cranes, shuttles, and carton-opening systems.

KPI Optimization: Monitor and improve automation efficiency to meet site performance goals.

Client Ambassador: Build professional relationships with site leadership as the visiting technical expert.

Inventory Oversight: Maintain spare parts inventory for critical electrical and mechanical components.

What You’ll Need:

Electrical Certification: Strongly preferred (Journeyman, Master, or specialized Technical Certificate).

Technical Experience: Proven background in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of material-handling conveyors, AS/RS, and shuttle systems.

Mobility: Must be willing and able to travel 70% of the time; proximity to a major U.S. airport is essential.

Problem-Solving: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently in high-pressure environments.

Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel).

What’s In It For You?

Full Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision from day one.

Retirement: 401K with company match.

Career Growth: Tuition reimbursement and professional development.

Perks: Competitive PTO, plus reimbursements for safety shoes, eyewear, and fitness memberships.

Benefits

Salary: Competitive base of $70,000 – $72,000 per year. Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance. Retirement: 401(k) plan with company matching. Work Environment: A dynamic, innovative culture that values technical excellence and career growth.

Join a team that is shaping the future of conveyor integration. Apply today!
