Director of Operations - Automation Dallas, TX, US Salary Range: $175,000 - $200,000 Overall Scope: The role is a senior leadership position responsible for the operational delivery of complex material handling and automation projects. It requires a blend of technical expertise, project management acumen, and strong leadership skills to manage a growing team and diverse range of solutions. Candidates for the Director of Operations position at will need a comprehensive understanding and demonstrated experience in the following areas of warehouse automation; • Warehouse Automation Projects: A proven track record of managing and successfully delivering complex automation projects from inception to completion. This includes project planning, execution, budget management, and stakeholder communication. • Design: Strong capabilities in the design phase of warehouse automation solutions, including conceptualization, layout optimization, and system specification. • Installations: Extensive experience overseeing and directing the installation of sophisticated automation systems, ensuring adherence to safety standards, timelines, and quality benchmarks. • ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems): Deep expertise in the principles, design, implementation, and operation of various ASRS technologies.

Primary Responsibilities: Maintain quality of service by ensuring good quality communication with both customers and colleagues. Ensure that reports are well written and legible Implement site quality procedures, safety procedures, and any statutory procedures Hold regular meetings with the Maintenance Operations Manager to discuss activities and progress Provide maintenance service support, including to the installed system Ensure that all spares usage issues are logged accurately and timely with the customer and our spare parts team Ensure that supplied tools and equipment are well cared for and are always in a presentable/usable condition Be flexible and use skills and aptitudes to the best of your abilities Ensure that all timesheets and documentation are correct and legible, reflect accurate job numbers, and are presented to your supervisor on a weekly basis for sign off Willing to travel as and where required or requested Train customer’s maintenance team
