The Role: Technical Authority & Problem Solver
As a Technical Support Engineer, you are the Maintenance specialist for the plant. You will move beyond routine repairs to provide deep-dive diagnostics and permanent engineered solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Expert Diagnostics: Lead complex fault-finding missions using advanced laptop diagnostics across plant-wide processes. Automation Mastery: Optimize and maintain high-end PLCs and Robotics to ensure peak operational efficiency. Technical Mentorship: Act as the "on-shift lead," providing high-level backup and guidance to the maintenance team. Continuous Improvement: Don't just fix—improve. You will design and implement permanent engineered solutions to recurring technical issues.
Your Profile
We are looking for a highly analytical engineer who thrives on solving problems that others can’t.
Essential Requirements:
Foundation: Time-served Electrical or Mechatronic Apprenticeship in an industrial setting. Software Fluency: Proven ability to write, modify, and fault-find on PLC programs. Robotics: Practical experience in the adjustment and optimization of robotic systems. Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated experience in engineering problem-solving and root-cause analysis. Leadership: Ability to read complex electrical drawings and provide technical support to junior staff.
Preferred (Advantageous):
HNC/HND in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline. Experience leading teams or managing machine installation projects.
