Senior Metallurgist
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Premium Benefits Package

Job Description
Purpose: To act as the technical lead for material processes, driving root-cause investigations and providing metallurgical expertise to support production and new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Root-Cause Analysis: Lead investigations into test failures and process issues involving titanium, aluminium, and steel forgings.
Technical Supervision: Supervise and mentor a team of metallurgists and technicians, managing resource planning and technical training.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in heat treatment and manufacturing processes.
NPI & Quotations: Interpret customer drawings and specifications to provide metallurgical input for new work opportunities and APQP projects.
Requirements:
Degree in Metallurgy or Materials Science (Essential).
Strong background in heat treatment and forging processes.
Experience in a supervisory or technical lead capacity.
