Cruise Control Recruitment are recruiting for a leading UK food manufacturer based in a brand-new state-of-the-art food manufacturing plant based in Corby. They supply a wide range of food products to all major retailers across the UK.

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join the Engineering Maintenance Department. This exciting role offers a competitive salary, and the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and innovative manufacturing environment.

We are seeking an Engineering Team Leader to work Monday to Friday within a busy factory and workshop, overseeing a team of 2 engineers who are currently working on Panama Shift. You will be working on Night Shift (10pm to 6am). Your role will be responsible for maintaining and improving facility uptime and asset reliability across the site. This involves leading a team of engineers and utilising tools such as Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and condition monitoring. The role requires flexibility and hands-on leadership to support and develop a high-performing engineering team.

 

You will have:

Proven experience in an engineering leadership or supervisory role, preferably within a manufacturing or food production environment.

Strong knowledge of maintenance tools, including PPM, RCA, and condition monitoring.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to motivate and develop a team, with strong communication and leadership skills. A flexible approach to work, with the willingness to adapt to changing production needs. Immediate start available for the right candidate.
